BBQ your own meat as you like.During evening/night they charge your for different kind of things (grill setup, min of two drinks, etc) I ended paying fortune for a very average size of dish.Be aware that air-conditioning in some of tables are not working well. The meat itself are great and feel fresh too. Use in caution

Gave this place a shot and it was pretty decent. Not as expensive as other places in the shinjuku area and staff was more than helpful to get you what you needed. Had a blast eating a ton of meat.

Delicious! We got the both the Wagyu (up front) and Blackhole course to compare (both come with a free alcoholic beverage, miso soup and rice). Was a lot of fun 😀 we didn't get charged the seating or water fee that other reviewers mentioned so perhaps things have changed. Perfect meal to celebrate our anniversary!

10/10 - Ate the Wagyu set - it was amazing. Great spot to hit up for dinner after the Robot show.

The place and the service is good. The experience is also interesting as a visitor but careful because you will pay 2500 yen of charge for 2 persons at the end of the diner. Even if it is kind of explained on the English menu (not precisely), I would like this service costs to be directly included in the food...

Good but too expensive.

Late night dinner here was so memorable. We enjoyed the recommended assorted 5 wagyu at 5000¥, they have a great selection called “today’s beef” (tokojou oniko) which was superb or excessively melts in your mouth for only 2,400¥. We paired a lot of our beef orders with highball that kept on coming. It was a great night. We spent around 30,000¥ for a group of 4 meat eaters. It was worth it.Ami our waitress was very helpful and accommodating. She is a plus factor in this fine establishment. Very friendly diligent and accommodating to us foreigners.

Wow!! Amazing Wagyu and beef tongue

Worth every penny! Not the cheapest place but extremely large selection of Wagyu meat. The staff was really friendly but knows only a few words of English.

Amazing food and atmosphere. It is expensive compared to other places but I rather eat my food in a stylish setting so I don’t mind paying that bit extra! Would highly recommend for westerners as they speak amazing English.

Very good quality wagyu and nice plum wine! The receptionist is helpful and speaks English.

A good place to try wagyu beef at an affordable price

A friend of mine and I ate here recently, food was delicious and staff was very friendly and helpful! English menu was easy to understand (even explained taxes).I'm glad we went! An excellent experience and delicious final meal in Japan.

Ana excellent option for YakiNiku or Japanese BBQ. Great wagyu beef cuts and nice environment.

Super friendly staff and excellent beef. The shinshin beef slices really hits the spot. The other meats like pork and chicken really makes the cut too. Coming here on a cold day makes the trip really worth it.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, an English menu for non Japanese speakers and a decent sized beer glass. What more could a person want?

First time trying wagyu & this place did not disappoint. Went for the ¥6000 wagyu meal.The really marbled wagyu was amazing, the other one was a bit chewy but maybe it was because we might’ve overcooked it?The chicken & sausage also tasted nice & you can also get extra salad if you want.The service was very friendly & food came out fast. You cook your own meat here so be careful not to overcook the meat.Original post didn’t load but would recommend coming here to try out wagyu.

Very good beef, but the quantities were quite small for the price. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Very delicious food but the waitress wasn’t that good in knowledge of the wagyu beef selection the offered.Knowledge in English was ok, English menu which was goodWe took the 7.500 yen platter. That included all beer you can drink in 1,5 hour, starters, potatoes, salad and dessert.

Food and ambience not the best, on a average only. Meat was overall satisfactory. Have tried other yakiniku around shinjuku has better value for money and better cut.Too many side charges for water if u r not a drinker! I just love my meal. Non refillable for even hot tea! It cost 400yen for a small cup of tea and was not even full when it was served. Wish I had a picture of it! People are not as friendly as mention. We r not even done with the food and they start cleaning the table. Well it could be language bearer but body language speaks it all.

I ordered exclusively from the wagyu menu so i may be biased but for yakiniku it was really good. i found the meats that were served with a sauce were better than just the salt and pepper meats, shishito peppers are a must, and if you go do yourself a favor and order a kirin ichiban with your meat :)

Good food, fun ambiance, but they have a 90 minute time. Limit that isn't mentioned up front, a 500 yen table charge, and a mandatory drink. Once you get past that, it's enjoyable. Their set wagyu menu is 6000 yen a person.

We had a good time helpful customer Service for English speakers, 5000Y for a set menu that gives good amount of food for a person, sakes, draft beers and wine options. It’s a social experience worth it if you haven’t eaten this style before

I definitely recommend this place. The meat is divinely seasoned and the salad dressing for the free flow cabbage is absolutely yummy. Ask for the English menu.

This place was amazing and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The waiter had excellent English and was able to explain all the A5 wagyu pieces and how to best eat them.Highly recommended and would definitely come back when I visit in the future!

Not a good place for travelers that don't speak Japanese. They have an English menu that is helpful, but they avoided our table as much as possible. The wait staff clearly were uncomfortable not being able to speak with us. We did not think the meat was very good either, but not understanding how to work the controls or what meat we had dropped in front of us may have contributed.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Their wagyu was so worth the money. It felt like butter when you put the grilled meat into your mouth. Not sure if anyone had mentioned this but the cabbage salad they give you is worth mentioning!!! I have never eaten so much cabbage in my life. A true cultural reset!!

Excellent place to eat - a little expensive but a great experience and quality food. Staff very helpful and attentive, gets busy so best to either book or come early - 6pm was ok for us but filled up quick.

We had different sorts of beef slices on the bbq and it was so good! Very cool concept with a grill in the middle of the table, very social eating! The staff was also friendly and helpful. A bit pricy compared to other bbq restaurants, but worth it!

It feels like typical tourist trap: pricey, average and below food and odd charges at the end (they forgot to sat there a table charge)
